Just reading what "Consultant 1" said below - I disagree on everything they wrote. I have enjoyed my time, I have risen reasonably well and I enjoy it. However, each to their own I suppose.
Projects - Not much substance to argue against here, so feel free to reach out and I can give you a real view of work we're up to, everything from the small projects to large.
Leadership - I mean, all leadership have either come from Accenture, other consulting firms like McKinsey, or we've nabbed them from industry ... just read the partner page on the website and make your own decisions.
People - To generalise "everyone" as unhappy is rather rogue - join an OpenDoor or ask to meet people and you'll likely be told that people are a key part of the firm and they're happy. I can't speak to each person, but rather than me yapping about it here, come in a meet them.
Culture - Yet to understand how Consultant 1 arrived at this point, I wouldn't agree. But again - come talk to some of us, will gladly give you unscripted, raw answers to any and all questions.
Brand - Not sure i'd agree here, a genuine problem we're trying to solve is our consultants are being poached from others - our brand does carry weight. Leaving to join another firm or industry wouldn't be any more difficult than leaving from any other consultancy.
Stakeholders - I've been here 5 years and only done one back-office project. No idea who the large Essex men with attitude problems are, not sure which clients, if any are from there.
Reach out if you want to know more - appreciate people have good and bad times at any firm, but if you want to get any real answers, reach out.
