Hi there, I’ve been told that Deloitte (London, UK) is going to make me an offer but haven’t heard back and it’s been over two weeks. The recruiter mentioned it would be around the “m2 grade”. Any idea what this pay range is? … I have 3 YOE working in NHS finance and have applied for a position in Risk Advisory, public sector. Curious what life at Deloitte is like? Does a work life balance exist?

Based on my experience which is largely financial services focused, I would say no. What I industry / types of roles are u going for?
I’m at the consultant level (direct promote no MBA) and am relatively industry agnostic, mainly looking at in-house strategy roles
Not MBB, but almost every role I look at would be a pay cut or very close to my current salary

Depends on level you’re at and the industry you’re looking to move into. Have done a fair bit of research, so if you provide those details, I can probably provide a more helpful answer...
I’m at the post MBA consultant level, but a direct promote without an MBA. I’m currently industry agnostic but have mainly been looking at corporate strategy roles
Yes - interested to follow this.
Also interested in thoughts on income progression in industry v MBB. It's not just about what you're earning this year or next year!
It depends on what role you are going for. At Senior manager level it will be difficult to get much higher (prob a cut actually) then MBB consultant level, but you can shoot for director level if your non consulting experience is valuable
Went out as new PL to Director level and my pay rose to equivalent of Principal. Not sure about future progression, but I also have equity.
This is PE-owned business: good thing to look at.

What does that look like in terms of YOE and compensation jump?
