Is it bad to be blunt and direct with your interviewer?

I personally prefer to be direct because I don’t want to waste my time and I don’t want to waste the prospective employer’s time. My fear is that if you are honest no employer wants to hire you because they are all solely acting on self interest. The employer and employee relationship is rarely fair in my past 10 years in the workforce.


What do you guys think? Is it still better to be blunt or are both sides just fake?

SO and I got in to a disagreement on the background of Indian tech CEOs. It appears that they are all from 1 or 2 major communities in India.

While he thinks that its genetics/being naturally gifted that got them to where they are I believe it's the environment & discipline that made them successful. We are not from said communities but curious to hear your thoughts on who is more accurate.
