PwC A recruiter from PWC reached out to me to ask if I’d consider a different office the one I applied to, since it’s full. It would be Boston, Hartford, Chicago, Minneapolis, Little Rock, Denver, San Francisco or San Jose. MSA candidate. Is there a fully remote option? Do you have to be in the office all the time? Is the compensation high at PWC? Is there a possible moving expenses? Any insight or advice would help me make a decision. Thank you!

Depends firm to firm & role to role!
Companies have different policies. But for mine:
-We are remote-first, but policy requires employees to be within driving distance of an office/hub even though we are not required to come into the office ever.
- You can work from another state, but not for an extended period of time due to tax implications (like you can’t exceed ~4 weeks away at a time).
- For intl countries you have to give a heads up to your manager but also check the country’s policies on carrying work equipment/data cross borders as they may require addtl paperwork, declaration, visa stuff etc etc.
Lots of big companies require you live in a commutable distance to the office, 100miles max.
It varies. I met a woman in Orange County, CA who works for a company HQ'd in Dallas. She flies there maybe once or twice a quarter.
Common for a good chunk of recent hires here

I did that at a fully remote (with occasional travel to clients) boutique before coming here. Was amazing but unfortunately I got moved to a higher cost city again
