Sleep on your back with a pillow under your knees or on your side with a pillow between knees bent at a right angle. Sleeping on your stomach is terrible for your back.
Agreed with A1-- prop yourself with pillows! The two most common sleep posture issues are with joint flexion (can be solved with pillow propping) and sleep apnea (typical symptom is your head tilted at weird angles). If you have sleep apnea, you probably also snore. It can be helped tremendously by nasal strips
