I had interviewed for an internship position at EY for technology consultant program for summer 2022 and got a call where they extended an offer. I wanted to know if I can defer the internship offer to fall 2022 or a later start date after summer.

This is why folks should apply even if they only match 80% of the requirements. But I would still say that these softwares should be prefered.
Between Google searches and YouTube, most software can be learned pretty quickly.
That's exactly my point. Most softwares can be learned and taught very quickly. But most job postings require you to be knowledgeable on these for entry level positions, the point of entry level is to LEARN. If we don't have experience , what makes recruiters think applicants have experience in them.?.
Some jobs like to put all their “in a perfect world of perfect people we would like…” list as requirements. Some companies break out “required” vs “preferred” but some don’t. Also, women are more self-critical in my opinion. If you are a 60% match, submit the application and let someone else say yes or no — don’t say no to yourself.
