What are the best consulting firms for marketing and/or sales strategy work?

I had my PHR back in early 2000, then made a career change to a paramedic (I know, right). I called SHRM and they said I'm eligible to test again even though I only currently have 1.5 yrs of HR.

I purchased the online study guide and it seems that HR has gone in a completely different direction - more operations related than employee relations etc.

Did anyone find this online training to be helpful? I test in July, so any tips would be greatly appreciated!

Why is the default laptop charger so bulky? It’s so stupid and impractical. I definitely had seen chargers that are lightweight.

Hi! I’ve been at Goldman for 10 months now and got approached by a faang recruiter and interviewed thinking it would be good practice. I ended up getting a product job and that was my long term plan post mba. The pay is also over double what I’m currently making. Shooting in the dark here but by any chance is there any other member here that has booked a new construction townhome in Sudbury, Massachusetts by Pulte Homes?
Construction has been long delayed due to Eversource utility company and with this market where the rates are increasing every day, just wanted to see how to proceed if anyone else is facing similar issues or ways to back out without loosing earnest deposit money (approx 70k) as it has been more than 6 months delay.

Does anyone here have advice on how to move into biglaw? I’ve spent my entire career in government and worked my way up to my current level where I handle privacy, healthcare, L&E, government investigations/audits, and public contracting and procurement issues. I also have significant trial and litigation experience. The private sector, especially Biglaw, has always felt out of reach, but I want it and don’t want my chance to pass me by.
