The only real loyalty you have is to yourself. So if you can afford to quit and the job doesn't fit then put in a two week notice and leave.
That is too bad. Its like that at almost every place now days. The work place is toxic every where you go. My advice is remember why your there. To make money to support yourself and your family. Show up keep your head down no one is your friend and do whatever is expected of you until you find something better. Your loyalty is to having integrity and cashing the paycheck.
I agree with Supervisor 1. Two week notice will leave you in good standing. If you don’t care about a good standing, just don’t show up. Then they will fire you and you can file unemployment for a while until you find a new job. However, the 2 week notice is your best option. Best of luck to you!
You can not file unemployment if you quit showing up, state will deny it. Your employer will fight it, two week notice is best. Hell even 1 week works
After a few months? Yes you could
I feel it’s better to leave happy or as happy as you are when you can, it’s about your health physically, mentally and emotionally your chosen career takes up a large portion of your life/home balance time, and as they say life’s to short.
I’m a passionate employee,
If I work for you then I’m passionate about your business
If I’m selling your brand then I’m passionate about what you are selling
If I show up early and leave most nights late then I’m wanting your business to succeed.
My last employer and role was all. This to me and I it to them unfortunately they missed the them bit I worked myself into the ground or actually into a hospital bed working 10+ hour days 6 days a week and at times pulling a 24 hrs shift not paid for and not asked for it was all ok until it wasn’t as my health failed, sick and reoccurring sickness, resulting in fatigue setting in if didn’t take long for their attitude to change and took even less time for them to wipe me
The bottom line is DONT DO IT your not appreciated and they aren’t going to thank you or pay for the funeral
