Is this for real?! I can't believe that I'm going to have to settle for $12/h if I want to be a receptionist today. What are the rest of you making? I understand that this is for a senior community salon, but the job and the responsibilities are the same, so what justifies this kind of low pay??

Wow. I make $20/h, so I guess that's way better but it's still pretty low considering how expensive the country we live in is. I regret not pursuing an education in my life, but I'm grateful that I actually enjoy my job.

That’s terrible but this is pretty normal for a receptionist position unfortunately. I have seen high payer but it depends on the location that you are in. Relatively, the industry that we work in has a lower pay than any other working industry .
