Where are my monies!?

Guys there’s this boot camp that I came across that trains people to get jobs in Top consulting firms and has a fee plan wherein you pay once you get placed. I just wanted to know if someone here has any experience with this ?

A couple issues with your question:
1) when is this actually a choice that someone faces? I guess if you’re at a point where you’re ready for a top b-school and you’re also considering joining a big 4 then this is relevant. In that case, b-school is a far more direct and successful route into MBB to answer your question.
2) The other issue is that what you’re calling tier 2 is pretty broad. Big difference between someone at Kearney vs. KPMG, for example. I consider B4+ACN to be more of a tier 3. The type of work that Kearney, S&, OW, LEK, EYP do is far more similar to what MBB does (often the same) and is what I would call tier 2. Sure, B4 is also “consulting” and there is definitely an overlap in some skills. If I’m reviewing resumes for a position at Bain, though, I’m valuing someone from tier 2 considerably higher than someone at B4 (on average).

MBA is easiest pipeline. Lateral moves can be more opportunistic and depends a lot on market.
Depends on your definition of best. A top 15 MBA is the most likely path into MBB, but business school is expensive and time consuming. The experienced hire path is much less costly and less time consuming, but much less likely to be successful.

Why do people pay hundreds of thousands of dollars and 2 years of their life to make PowerPoints all day?

But most people do it for the exit opportunities after even just a year. I was getting offers for Director-level positions just 6 months after starting
