It’s such a downer going over all the jobs you’ve applied for via various platforms. Most of them didn’t even respond with a " No thank you brokie" lol. I am so tired of cold calling HR for a status update and again most of them you can’t reach and is told " if your resume matches you’ll get a response "😔😔. Truth is I’m TIRED !

Is it really that difficult to get hired for a federal job? I was interviewed for a GS12 job but never heard back, they still didn’t hire anyone and I didn’t get a rejection. I applied for another GS07 job, was accepted, I took it, but I believe I can do better. I have a master’s and have extra graduate research experience. Hey, new to investing looking at initial mistakes I made. I have $1k in VOO, $7k in VT and $4k in VTI in my brokerage acct; in my Roth IRA I have $6k in VT and $7.7k in VTI. I know isn’t an ideal portfolio because many of these funds overlap. However I’m in for the long term and am willing to reposition to a strategy that will do the best over my life.
