You won't know unless you try. In my opinion, customer service builds a very transferable skillset because you're used to dealing with people. Anything that requires you to do the same should be a possibility for you.

I guess that what I need to look for. But I am trying to find something that does not involve dealing with customers at all. Lets see what I end up with.
What would better look like for you? Do you want to move away completely from customer-facing roles? The easiest way to make a career pivot in a job market as bad as this one is to try and move within your company. Is there a role at your current job that you would prefer?

There are definitely some positions within my companies but it will take longer to end up being there. My first preference always was my company but lets see what happens.

You can try a sales position career. It’s also customer based and you can earn a commission based on a sale that you made. I don’t know how the job market is for sales positions but they are seem to be hiring when I look at jobs online.

That could be a good idea. I have been exploring some options already. Thank you for your advice.

Customer service makes you more marketable. No matter where you go you will have the people skills that most people lack. Step out on faith and see where it takes you. Just don’t leave your current job until you find something new

You are right. I need to have something on my table before I can even think about leaving my previous job.
