I wanted to know the interview process for the role of program manager in Microsoft. How many technical rounds happen? Are they very technical or mostly based on case studies and frameworks? It would be really helpful if someone could throw some light on this. I have recently received a call from Microsoft and would have my screening today.

I need perspective. I’m working 80 hours a week as an experienced entry level professional and I’m feeling miserable. This seems to be the norm in the role, but I was told otherwise during the interview process. I wonder if this could be sustainable in the long term and if I will get used to it.

I recently stepped away from my position overseeing HR operations at a midsize company (>300 staff). After numerous executive level changes and the departure of our HR VP I was promoted to a role I didn’t particularly want. After managing through it for a year and a half I decided to step down. I’m beginning to look for new opportunities and curious for any tips on getting interviews with larger size companies… Any insider insight? So I have been offered a job at multinational company as a Data Engg. It was a part of the hiring event, and literally got selected with a VERY VERY SIMPLE technical assessment, and a 45 minute interview.

The pay should within my expectations, but I am unsure about the company and the team.

Just that the process was way too easy so quick. I do not even know the hiring manager.

Has someone been a part of this before? Any suggestions if I should go for it? What should I ask?

So I’ve been to multiple interviews at google now for a datacenter technician job (either L2/L3) in the Netherlands. I’ve now come to the point to negotiate my expectations regarding salary. Do you guys have a baseline or recommendation of salary that I can negotiate with?
