I’ve been working as a contractor for almost a year now, and I actually like the variety. But I'm starting to look for something more permanent. Part of me wonders if a recruiter is going to look at my last twelve months and see it as a red flag instead of a solid skill set. Is this a valid concern these days, or is contract work more accepted than it used to be?

If you’ve been in the contract for a full year it shouldn’t harm your prospects. A shorter contract might. Have you always done contractor work?
