I’ve had a string of interviews since December that felt like a waste of time. Managers are coming off cold or even rude, and it’s starting to wear me down. One recruiter actually told me they wouldn't hire me because they thought I’d be late every day, even though I was early for the interview. If you’ve already decided you don't want me, why bring me in just to be critical and unprofessional? Is anyone else seeing this trend?

If there is a case that we have to quarantine again. Do you all think it is possible for store associates to work remotely? If so, what are some ways this could work? I fear another pandemic or outbreak and so many people being out of work again. I can't even fathom those that had jobs in retail that had little to no choice to not be remote.

I moved from being customer service at a call center to doing it remotely from home, and it's such a game changer. I just sit around in my pajamas, relaxed. Has anyone else switched to 100% remote work?

While the firm has an office in my city, there are no other litigators in my office. A bit worried about being on an island. Fwiw I’ll be a mid/senior associate and I plan to make frequent visits to the office where my team is.

Am I the only person who has been super disgusted to Fishbowl’s response to the Meta layoffs? I’ve been laid off twice in my career but I’m not mad at 11000 people who no longer have jobs just cause they got decent severance while I got a week on my way out. Facebook is hot garbage but I’m pretty sure 0 out of the 11000 were making those decisions. So why are you upset about it? Urgh. Y’all are weird.
