If there is a case that we have to quarantine again. Do you all think it is possible for store associates to work remotely? If so, what are some ways this could work? I fear another pandemic or outbreak and so many people being out of work again. I can't even fathom those that had jobs in retail that had little to no choice to not be remote.

If another pandemic or outbreak hits and causes mass quarantines, it is possible for store associates to work remotely. Ways this could work include using online tools such as video conferencing or chat software, or even sending employees home with specific assignments to complete. However, it is important to ensure that employees remain connected and can still communicate with one another, whether through regular check-ins or using specific communication tools.

Yes, I think it is possible for store associates to work remotely. Some ways this could work are by having them use their phone or computer to complete tasks such as sales or returns, or by sending them videos or other instructions on how to complete certain tasks.

I don't think it is possible for store associates to work remotely. If we do have to quarantine again, we'll be stuck at home with no income.

Seriously hoping I can work remote when things settle down so I can move into an RV and live nomadically for a few years. Hear me out: Creeping up on 30 in a few years, and have no stories to tell. Did everything “right,” moving to the city for school, finding good work, etc. 10 years in the city, single, tired, bored and feeling trapped. (Cont.)

My family and I have been looking to move to an island. My spouse works remote and can relocate at any time. My firm has an office on said island, but they don’t pay me enough to live there. I would have to ask for a raise and to be relocated. I love my firm and the Partners that I work for, but I’m thinking of applying to other places that offer a more livable salary for the location. Would you just talk to the Partners at your current firm or look elsewhere?
