I've never had a good manager or supervisor. Someone who feels like a guiding force. I've had friends in the field tell me that their managers are good at molding their strengths to fit the company's growing needs and it honestly makes me a little envious. Recently hired an admissions consultant and based off of our consultation she was great. Unfortunately, I have not been able to find a ton of non-gmat club/PQ feedback on her but I went with my gut and moved forward. What is the best way to get the most out of my experience with her? I am starting from the ground up for R1.

Leadership only promotes people who kiss ass the most qho have no managerial experience and pass people who actually have experience in a manager role. Leadership never helps you with anything.
