They'll stretch again when you wear them. That's how jeans work.
You should never dry your jeans in a dryer
Ah well apparently I’ve screwed this all up, I will no longer be putting jeans in the dryer, thanks all.
If you must put them in the dryer, ONLY use a delicates/lowest heat setting. Ideally, have a high end dryer that lets you set temp & level of dampness. Jeans should be slightly damp to the touch after being dried on very low heat.
Jeans look like shit after you put them in the dryer
Welcome to adulthood. Buy new jeans. Don't put those into dryer. As a precaution, look for preshrunk or sanforized jeans.
best advice I’ve gotten about jeans: buy expensive raw denim (APC, for example) that are slightly tight. Delay first wash as long as possible (which is really a soak in the bath tub). Wash only when needed with cold water and hang dry. Raw denim will never do you wrong as long as you don’t nuke it in your dryer lol
I’ve only bought and worn Lucky jeans over the past 4 years (I have an odd-shaped body and their 410 Athletic Fit is all I can wear). I’ve never had a pair shrink on me, but I’ve also never put them in the dryer.
Chances are they're shrinking in the dryer, not the wash.
Yea but hanging up jeans sucks...are newer dryers better at not shrinking?
Waist tho...ug
Probably says right on the label not to put them in the dryer. Should also wash in cold water
Just throw them in the dryer for 5-10 minutes to take the worst of the wrinkles out and hang over a door until they dry
