Does anybody have any advice when applying to postings with many applicants and getting noticed? The company I am interested in is Figma, and though I reached out to a few technical recruiters after applying through LinkedIn, I am wondering if there might be something more I could do that maybe I’m not thinking about. Also along those lines, if anybody here works for figma I would love the chance to connect

If it’s very casual, why are you wearing a blazer? From my experience clients tend to be a little off out if you’re the only one walking around in a blazer. Could come off as a little condescending.
That’s not very casual, that’s business casual. Suit up son.

I’ve always used the “+1 Rule:” show up a little more formally dressed than the client, but don’t overdo it: if the client is wearing khakis and buttoned downs, a blazer may be fine, but if they’re wearing cargo shirts and graphic tees, you’re going to look overdressed and potentially clueless.

So when I say casual I mean everyone wears chinos and a blazer. Any recommendations you guys might have?
I've been considering that Suit Supply Havana (in a different fabric) that @kpmg1 linked. Does anyone else think the patch pockets are too casual, or am I overthinking it?
I like patch pockets on a blazer. Flap pockets would make me paranoid that I look like I'm wearing half a suit.
I do patch pockets on even my business suits. Even though they’re the most casual, they’re also the most versatile and make for great separates.
Where does a blazer fit in a very casual dress code? You want to dress 1 notch up, but blazer seems several.
