I hate wearing pants.

Working in an office is lame. I've found that most of the people that love being in the office either want to get out of their house or use work to fill their social needs. I've got enough friends already and don't need anymore. I'll keep doing my job from home, thx

Weird that an entire generation thinks the only upside to being around other people at work is the time wasting part of it.
Not wasting 10 hours a week on commute in a traffic is a big plus to my well being.
I'm totally drained getting home at 7. Most places are closed and the only one can do to fill the night is TV.
I think more and more people want flexibility after Covid.
No commute (time that is super valuable during busy season & money saved), can wear pajamas, easily distracted when in the presence of others so less productive, dislike the office I’m mapped to

I get distracted easily in office chit chat. Our new office is so small and crowded there is no guarantee we can even get a workstation when getting there. Most of us accept when we have to go in on a particular day, work will not get done. Like others mentioned above, I like reclaiming my time not commuting to be spent on working out. I too, love my puppy at my side at work and being able to customize my own home office.
Agreed with this statement whole heartedly. When I do go to the office, it is mostly a wasted bunch of hours as I you end up chit chatting a lot. That plus the 1.5 hour commute each way causes it to not be valuable most days. With that said, I also didn’t have my team in my office previously. We are currently gaining more staff in my group that go to my office so I may consider going in more frequently but I also have two young kids at home so rather be home
Snoozing to cuddle with the fiancé.
Why should I force myself to drive 1-2 hours each day in high traffic? Why should I waste my time to stay in the office for 8 hours plus an extra for lunch and pretend to do work (when it is downtime)?
Why should I subject myself to respond to pointless conversations about your spouse/kids/pets/etc?
In all seriousness, WFH is more flexible for me to spend time with those I love and get personal things done.
Bc I love my dog… and love the concept of teaming in person when it’s helpful and intentional
