The few I am close with from WNT actually would rather be in more client-facing roles. But they don’t have rev goals, so to me that sounds way more appealing tbh. I never asked about WLB but I think they get it better than us in client-facing roles

WNTS is the word for the entire office so like anything the experience is *very* dependent on the specific group. That said, many of the staff are attorneys and fully client facing, at least at PwC. The revenue goals are very low so the focus is on being a SME, branding, and working for a lot of clients and colleagues (utilization)

I’ve been in the same NTS group for my entire 22 years at PwC. I’m very happy here.

Hi!! I’m an HR Coordinator currently (about two years of experience) but my job has so many responsibilities and tasks I’m beyond burnt out. It’s truly impossible to focus on one task because things are constantly being thrown my way. I’ve heard whisperings of a promotion or raise, but my workload is already too much, I don’t know if I’d want to accept more responsibility. Is it normal to feel like you have just as many responsibilities as your superiors who make 30k+ more than you?

Guys,
Need some suggestions.
Currently I am working in TCS Kolkata with 6.8lpa, technology - Exchange 2010 (which is already out of support from Microsoft).
I got an offer from Infosys Bhubaneswar with 9.3lpa, technology: Office 365.
My hometown is Kolkata.
Hybrid model is okay for me if it is Bhubaneswar as my in-laws won't allow me to move to a different city. Problem is opportunities are very less in Kolkata and TCS won't hire ex- employees. Should I switch to Infosys or stay back in TCS..

Hey all! I have an interview with

Is it the case here?

It’s hard to trust the partners/leadership when they want us to return to office as being better when we increase offshoring? Also, the pressure on billable hours when all that really matters is how much our fixed labor costs vs. how much we can bill (which is usually fixed fee or at least a range) and the fixed labor costs of offshoring is significantly cheaper so the hours don’t matter. Am I mistaken by this viewpoint?
