Got Dbadge mail 5 days prior to my joining (nov 6th ) DOJ Nov 11th

Mailed hr regarding my background verification because it is still pending on Nov 6th

Hr confirmed on Nov 7th that I am good to onboard on my DOJ

Got a pre onboarding webinar(on my DOJ) mail on Nov 8th

Got a Mail regarding the assignment of onboarding advisor (buddy) on Nov 8th

Got a laptop pick mail on Nov 8th timing to collect is 2 to 5 pm need to collect

Anyone who has started up a side hustle whilst working in consulting - is it generally a good idea to let your employer know or will they make your life difficult/try to push you out if they know?

(Context - I need the extra income to have a shot at affording grad school, I work for a small boutique, job contract was ambiguous on the issue. Side hustle is selling stuff I make as a hobby on Amazon)

I was Associate 2 earlier but when I checked SF recently it's showing Associate 3 but i have not received any email or intimation.. is it a bug?

I’ve spent 4 years in Big 4, with about half that time in FDD. I feel like Corp Dev is what I ultimately want, but am wondering if a stint in banking could be worth it. If I’m not interested in PE or other buyside alternatives, is the pit stop in IB worth it?
Mainly wonder if IB is a must have box to check, or if you can work your way up the ladder without.

I’m in this business to cure my inferiority complex. Making lots of money, working with fortune 500 clients and walking the streets of NYC with a suit, tie and briefcase makes me feel important and worthy.

I often wish I could be like my law school friends who either moved to small towns or have public sector or non profit jobs, wear sweaters and jeans to work and make far less than me, but are happy with their lives, feel a sense of meaning with their work and don’t need external validation.

From 15th November will TCS employee need to report to "ODC Location"? If their "base location" and "ODC Location" is different; will they get deputation benefits i.e. "air ticket, tata quarter, deputation allowance"?
