Just got my Global Services! 8th year in a row! :)

I have an offer from Principal Global Services. How is the company culture? Is it better than most other companies? How about growth opportunities?

It has been almost 2 weeks since I joined KPMG Global Services, but I have not been assigned any project yet. They are telling again there will be client interviews. What the hell is this? I mean I just cracked the interview to join KGS. And now again why do I need to attend interview? What happens if someone cannot crack client interview?will he not get project and will be asked to leave?

Does anyone aware on Techila Global Services( TGS).How good to switch this company with a good hike?

Have an amount of Marriott points I would would like to use to buy United miles.

Any advice on carrying out this transaction?

As I see KPMG Global Services office is not present in Kolkata, is there any chance of having KGS office in Kolkata in near future?

I have two offers in hand. KPMG and Deloitte. CTC is almost same whereas variable is more in KPMG. I am inclined towards Deloitte India. But HR in KPMG told me that I won't be able to join KPMG India in future as I accepted their offer. I informed her within 2 weeks and didn't do anything for onboarding. I didn't ask to increase the amount or JB and I strongly believe I informed early so they can look for other candidates. Is this bluff? Any HR here to clarify

Any advice on how to tastefully tell your manager that you no longer want to be a charge nurse anymore? For us being in charge is having full assignment 3p-7p & being responsible for assigning pts , communicating w/ supervisor about various issues, making the assignment for next shift, and a mini report about each pt for the next charge. On the weekends, same responsibilities but 7a-7p. We don't get any additional pay for being in charge and I'm sick of the added responsibility and stress of it.

Luggage delay claim question

I used Chase explorer to buy tickets for my vacation and luggages were delayed for a month. Per chase term I am entitled $100 a day for 3 days. But the claim agency chase used has been asking for airlines response, which has not came (2month+ now). I am concerned insurance will use this as an excuse to never compensate. Is there a good way to handle this situation?
