It sounds like your principal is doing the right thing to me! I do think they should be removed. I do think that the parents should be called by the principal and in certain cases, the parents should be called to pick up their child. It is beyond time to bring back accountability for teaching appropriate behavior and supporting learning for students who are there to learn.

He is planning on implementing the idea that a student may be removed from a classroom for up to 3 days, held during the passing period, and then sent to the next class in his/her schedule. I feel like the idea is to remove the child for the benefit of the class and the teacher.
