Keep 'em, or remove 'em? Finally after 2 years, if a student gets sent out of your room for disrupting the learning environment, or defiance they will not be returned to your classroom THAT day. Seriously, last year they would come back with candy or a drink! Our new principal says "no". Of course, I've always tried to keep them, as long as I can because if they aren't in my room, I can't teach them. Is it really fair, though to the kids who want to learn?

It sounds like your principal is doing the right thing to me! I do think they should be removed. I do think that the parents should be called by the principal and in certain cases, the parents should be called to pick up their child. It is beyond time to bring back accountability for teaching appropriate behavior and supporting learning for students who are there to learn.

It is nice to know if I am having a disruption in my class, I can have it removed.

I agree with your principal. Keep them out until next time.

He is planning on implementing the idea that a student may be removed from a classroom for up to 3 days, held during the passing period, and then sent to the next class in his/her schedule. I feel like the idea is to remove the child for the benefit of the class and the teacher.

Hi! Does anyone know what kind of knowledge is needed to crack the Data Scientist interview at Google?

I'm currently working in Marketing Analytics (primarily using SQL and a bit of pyspark). Apart from mastering SQL, I wanted to know from people working at Google what does it take to get there as a Data Scientist? (I'm very interested in Strategy Ops)

I plan to another 6-8 months in preparation and upskilling myself before I even apply.
Any help and guidance is appreciated! Thanks :)
