Sounds like you’re self medicating. The bags provide a hit. Does the satisfaction last, or do you next need a stronger hit (more expensive bag) to forget about your internal dissatisfaction? It may be better to explore what that’s about and address that, for a healthier mind, spirit. Age is not the issue.
Not too young especially if you earned it. I say enjoy them and who cares what others think - it’s your life, so live it the way you want so you have no regrets later on 💃
I would just make sure you're hitting financial goals alongside these purchases :)
Well, nothing wrong with being young.
But your patterns don’t sound healthy. If you prioritize bags over more important things for your budget, like savings, or even worse, you take on debt to buy them, you might benefit from talking to therapist.
I had about the same # of bags as you at 22 then stopped completely until now (I’m 25). Part of the reason of getting so many bags at 22 was when I started my job and thought life is short, why not look my best in NYC at 22. As long as you still contribute to 401k, have savings and don’t take on debt, oh and also really research and make smart buying decisions (cost per wear is my approach) - I think you’re fine
If you earned it and you’re not going into debt then enjoy them.
They’re not that expensive. Not like you’re throwing down for $100K palladium hardware birkins on senior salary.
