Have heard a lot for different opinions on these. The logic is that it’s easier because there is a lot of supply in cities like NY, Chicago and SF, but the counter argument is that the offices with less supply are also way smaller and have a lot less demand.

Honestly I’m 5ft and have a hard time. But I randomly look at TJ max. I try to coordinate outfits down to shoes. So it may take a while. I personally don’t live by the “rules” you know like no white after labor day.
I'm 5 ft too and I've always found great outfits at LOFT, Ann Taylor and maybe also Banana Republic.

I second Ann Taylor, even better that there is an outlet in my area. I’m petite, sometimes they have petite options and sometimes I get a regular suit and have it altered.
If you can find a JCP still open, I love their suit separates and sometimes can find a great dress. Great price-points too! Also, I find dresses/blouses at Maurices, Express, H&M, TJ Maxx.

Reiss, Hobbs London, and Veronica Beard are my favs but all are on the pricier side and depends on how formal you are looking.

Really? I haven’t seen an Express since the 90s. Cool that they now sell suits and work clothes. How is the quality of the clothes? Prices were always pretty low so (while knowing nothing about them now), I’m skeptical. Thanks for any info!
