Looking for advice from PR & Marketing leaders, how do you convince senior leadership that PR matters even though efforts don’t always lead to direct sales? We are a small DTC company with a complex product offering. We hired a PR agency about 1.5yrs ago when a big competitor popped up in our industry. I still get questions from frustrated number-focused execs about how an organic feature in The NY Times helps us even though we may not see direct membership/sales spikes within 24hrs.

When building a new brand, who is the actual client? Who has the final say? Who should you really listen to if no one is taking the lead? The president of the company, the original owner, the financial money partner, the third party manager? Everyone seems to have a voice, but the main contact is the underling gathering and offering their own opinion, which strangely seems to be the most on point. How do you handle this type of situation?

Need advice. I’m at my first job in private accounting. Previous experience is as an auditor. I am struggling to figure out the way JEs are posted at my current company. It’s never straightforward even for simple entries. There’s things like settlements which confuse the crap out of me. I’m curious if it’s just my company or if every sophisticated accounting department will have non traditional ways of posting their journal entries.

Hi all, I am a 4th year chemistry PHD student (International/Indian) and will surely finish in about a year, around Aug23. It can work for pharma (Merck, Pfizer, GSK etc.) as a scientist. However, I recently learnt that consulting firms particularly MBB also hire PHDs from diverse background. I am wondering what steps can I take in a year to do the transition if its possible? Or do I need to get some big brand name on my CV to do the transition?
