Ive been practicing in TX for 2-3 years at a big law firm doing mostly bankruptcy work (and some trial) and looking to clerk at a bankruptcy court in SDNY/DDE/EDVA (I am well aware of how great the SDTX judges are but I am set on leaving Texas). Anyone familiar with how many apps these judges normally get or what makes candidates stand out? Are these judges generally not interested in someone who has practiced in a different market?

I could go back to the family jeweler who designed the ring and would do it for free but the ring was designed in Michigan and I live in Chicago. Just graduated with Aerospace Engineering degree. I am interviewing for multiple positions at once with different companies. One gave me an offer and they want me to get back to them within 2 days. I still have other interviews scheduled and some for higher paying jobs (around 90k) What should I do?
I do like the company that gave me an offer but their base pay was 80k and they went up to 85k. Is asking for them to match the 90k too much? The position is associate systems engineer.
