If you're an onsite employee/deputee (Canada/US/Europe) but currently working fully remote, have you temporarily worked from India without taking leave for a month or so?

I understand this is not officially allowed. I'm interested in practical experiences only:

- How long did you do it?
- Was manager aware?
- Any issues with VPN, VDI/Citrix, security monitoring, or compliance?
- Were you asked to return?

My students come to my class first every morning and are really hard to settle. They continue to carry on whatever they were doing on the bus. It takes about 20 min to get them settled down and doing the warm up and the class is only 45 min. Any tips?
