Looking for some feedback on how others may handle their anxiety from their jobs. Been in the workforce world nearing 35 years but with every passing year, especially after the 2020, it seems that the landscape is getting darker, the culture more toxic and leadership wants more and more with less and less along with little to no real training or actual guidance.

How do you cope with the pressure, stress and anxiety?

It seems like in recent years there's been a big trend of companies obsessing over cutting costs. And that can show up in the workplace in ways like you describe, as workers get squeezed to be more productive, there's less training, and so on. What I do is try to concentrate on my own work and take what satisfaction I can from it. It's not always easy to stay focused, but I do what I can to not to be overwhelmed by anxiety and stress.

Therapy has been my go-to for dealing with stress and anxiety at work. I have a very stressful job, and it can become a lot for me to handle on a day-to-day basis. Meeting with my therapist once a week has really helped me to have a safe place to emotionally dump.

I make time for exercise and self care!

Is it okay to share offer letters that we have with other company recruiters? Aren't offer letters strict and confidential. Can we refuse to show the same or what can we do in these situations

What year of practice did you start handling closings on your own?

We are renovating a condo and the previous owner had two Crane toilets (not sure how old, but functioning although seals are old according to our contractor). Back outlet flour mount ones are the only options for the building, and one toilet can cost $300-$500.

We are redoing all the bathroom tiles and walls and debating what we should do with the two toilets. Would resealing the toilets extend the use life? Or should we just replace the toilets? Any other recommendations? TIA!!

Incoming MBA, I have my tuition paid for and rent covered (I will be an RA). So the only thing I need to pay for is food and entertainment. Do you think 20k is enough to last me through the 2 years? I will make a little money interning in the summer, so that would be a safety valve if I blow through the 20k.

Hi all,
I am working at PwC Kolkata for more than 2 years now,
I was promised that my salary will increase and as far as I know Partner has conveyed this request to the HR, but I still have not got any updates , so is it possible that , HR can deny the request, or they ar bound to do so ?. Who decides our CTC and increment ?
