I joined Tiger Analytics with CTC of 9lpa. When I check in greythr IT statement, it shows 7.14lpa.
In the CTC payslip, it shows 75k per month as my salary. But this month I got 61k.
I understand they deduct tax, but I feel it is too much. IDK where I'm losing the money. Can someone tell if this is normal. I'm a fresher so, IDK much about it.
Also, what can I do to pay less taxes? Any help on that?
😂, I mean definitely not laughing now!

A ton, this market wants you to move for the job, can’t work from home most of the time. So you flip your life around and move then the bozos lay you off a few years later because the shareholders weren’t happy this quarter. Every big company right now is having record profits, shareholders expect it to keep going up some how and when it doesn’t (impossible at some point) they do layoffs. Rinse and repeat, so no it’s not worth moving or uprooting your life for.

I've been working remote for almost 9 years so that's a hard requirement. I live in a smaller town with no tech companies and the nearest metropolitan area is close to 3 hours away. I'll do Doordash before I uproot my life to go back to the daily grind.

My family would revolt if I tried to move them for work, so it is a major consideration. Thankfully, we live in a major metropolitan area in a fully paid off house, so there are plenty of options here should I need them.
