I was a contractor for a big company and they just let me know that my last day is December 30th. I got this position thanks to a recruiting company that has been great and gives me benefits.
Should I:
- Continue working with the recruiting company, hoping that they will find another position for me? (as they told me they will, and when they applied me I started working with my current company within 2 weeks)
- Work with the recruiter + apply for jobs on my own?

I have a phone screen interview with AWS for the position of Systems Engineer with the Linux team early next week. I have a friend who was let go a few months into his first job after college (reason: the manager felt like he wasn't grasping the training content to the level that was expected). He's worried about if he should put the experience on his resume anyway, if he does will recruiters ask why he had such a short time at this place, and what will recruiters think if he explains he was let go. What are some things recruiters expect from candidates in this situation to continue considering them?

A lot of time is wasted here going through discovery documents we receive from clients because the docs are disorganized and not annotated - it just becomes a whole scavenger hunt and it’s eating into our time like crazy.

I’ve had radio silence from a small investment bank for about a week now. I’ve completed several rounds of interviews, but last Thursday the firm reposted the job I’ve been interviewing for. On Friday the headhunter said that they’re not sourcing new candidates and it’s probably just LinkedIn automatically refreshing the listing. She said they had a busy week last week but will make a final decision this week - is the delay and radio silence a bad sign or is this typical for experienced hiring?

I am starting a 4-months internship at a company B in January. However, I just heard from a company T that they will interview me for their full time position.

Company T is paying me way more (twice) than Company B. And I like company T more. However, they want me to start working in February if I get this position. If I end up getting the offer, I will have to quit my internship at Company B, almost immediately after I begin the internship.

Is this okay?

Is it possible to get a remote job in the US but be based in Canada? Not sure of the legalities but the salaries here are much lower than those in the US...
