Hi all, recently in touch by Spotify recruiter for a Sec Engineer position for remote EU and was told that range was 60-80 out of base salary and equity. Had 2 years of security experience out of my 4 years. Was also told that there is no bonus scheme or no sign in bonus 😕 Not sure how I feel about this tbh.
What do you think?

Tom, why not share more details so people can better understand some of the specifics?
Job seekers, I assume? ;)
Do you charge for your coaching or do it pro bono?
What type of value would someone get that paid the $5 a month?
Yeah, post the company name and link. What kind of marketing is this...
I thought I did.
Evans Denham
It's a coaching platform for Job Seekers.
Coaching. How to get seen, how to write the BEST LinkedIn, the best Resume.
How to interview, how to get hiring managers ATTENTION.
How to close, how to get commitment
I’m actually being genuine! My troll comment came from the following thoughts:
Is Evans Denham a person or a group?
(Post was unclear. You called me a troll, I stalked) I discovered it’s a group!
There’s a huge difference between working with one person named Evans versus a group or a recruiting/coaching agency who has a variety of resources and specialists. I think that’s worth being clear about.
What do you do?
You mention you’re platform for job seekers, and you teach people how to write LinkedIn profiles and resumes, and how to interview, how to get hiring managers attention…okay but:
“How to” feels one sized fits all, not personal. “How to” feels like you want to explain and not listen. “How to” feels like a help article.
One of the last things you said: “How to close”. This isn’t the right language for your audience or the audience of someone needing coaching. “How to land your dream job” might be more clear and aspirational.
Maybe bring in a copywriter :)
I think you need to say something like, ‘we share and teach LinkedIn and resume strategies’ etc. and not ‘how to this’ ‘how to that’. There’s not enough value being conveyed.
Why are you credible/why should strangers on the internet trust you? There’s not an ounce of credibility in what you’ve shared.
Who is your best served audience?
‘We help people who are looking to level up their career’ ‘We specialize in working with people in tech, marketing and sales’ [insert whatever it is, this is just an example] who are you really realllly equipped to help?
What’s the process of meeting with you guys? What’s the main call to action? What’s the next step? “Let me know if we can help” is too vague. It’s not pushy which is good, but too vague.
