Miami is great but too many New Yorkers / transplants now. Things are getting too expensive and too crowded.
That’s how Austin has become as well
I love it because it’s a stimulating place to live. I find it fun and full of life & opportunity.
I’m 31 and all my friends are mid 30s. We like to do happy hour (start time is like 4-7pm) or bbq/pool days at peoples houses on Sat/Sun. Weekday nights are usually for family or networking events. Whenever I go out with my brother who is in his 20s, I am the oldest person out so at 35, no one is even expecting you to stay out late tbh. Especially if you’re working full time and are hitting the gym Saturday and Sunday morning.
i could love to
I lived in Austin and recently moved to Miami. I love the nature/landscape in Austin, and HEB wins! However, I prefer Miami because of the beach, restaurant scene, flights, diversity of culture in neighborhoods, and all the events catering to different styles. On the downside, similar to Austin, it's becoming quite expensive (rent is crazy$), and transit is terrible. p.s: I too work at D! DM if need help :)
