Hello! Question for anyone that works at Google if I have hit my 3 applications per 90 days can I still apply to an additional role through a referral link? Or will I have to wait until the 90 days is up? Actually asking for a friend that doesn’t have this app 😊 thanks in advance for any insight.
Hey All!
I have a phone interview for a data scientist role at snowflake comming up. Any advice on how to prep?
The email indicates that the call will cover my experience, motivations, and understanding of Snowflake.
Curious if other have gone through the process and have insights to share. Or if anyone at snowflake can shed light on how I can be effective.

I’m an L6 SDM at Amazon but a Meta recruiter sent me an M2 sdm job description. I have all the XP I need from previous job experience but does Meta keep your same level as Amazon? Meaning if I am an L6 at Amazon am I automatically interviewing at M1 or can I jump to an M2?Amazon Facebook (Meta)

Started at Schwab as an intern and about to hit 4 years this summer. The WLB in my opinion is wonderful and has been a pretty significant retention factor for me. Currently in a hybrid situation with WFH and I have pretty much free reign when it comes to going into the office. I work on a strategy team so there are periods where it’s a grind but is evened out by lulls which is nice.
I’m not sure I’ve met someone who hasn’t been friendly or willing to at least talk to you during my time at Schwab (we even have a word for it Schwab-nice). As the person above mentioned, pay could be better in the financial services/strategy realm (tech will likely be higher), however Schwab will take care of you and pay you accordingly if you become an asset to the team.
Yes, I second the comment regarding being an asset. I’ve been with Schwab just under 2 years and have seen exponential growth in my career development because I’ve made myself an asset - and been paid fairly for each raise I’ve received. WLB is fantastic, and I absolutely love working for Schwab.
I’ve been at Schwab for 4ish years and my experience has been very positive for WLB - the main complaint has been pay, but they’ve rebase lined a lot of salaries.
People are generally nice, usually an event or two at the office every month, but most jobs are remote now the return to office hasn’t been huge
Admittedly I’m not a dev. Depending on the role they will likely cover some late night releases, but usually with the understanding that it would be a late start the next day.
WLB is quite good in my experience. Culture is called “Schwab Nice” for a reason 🙂
Culture and work life balance is all Aplus
As long as you’re not on the phone it’s good!
