Have got an offer from Maersk. I'm really interested to join. But on seeing the recession scenario and some companies withdrawing offers, I'm really afraid whether Maersk will also follow suit.

I'm new to the field. Everyone seems extremely stressed and overworked. Am I seeing the worst of it, or is that the norm?

I’ve been leading a massive project by myself for the last year almost and my boss torpedoed my last round of meetings: “oh we don’t need to socialize this, I’ve been doing it, let’s just kick it off.” Okay. So turns out, no one fucking knew and now because we had one meeting instead of two, the people we met with aren’t even the ones doing the work, and they’re not telling the ones who are supposed to do the work about it. So I now need to go back and do more meetings.

Are you guys happy? I think I am! I love my life but also for whatever reason when someone asked me, I hesitated. What’s that about?

I spent 2 years as an SE at my current company and was offered a job at the same company to lead our tech partnerships. I was pumped about the role and increased my OTE by 20%.

After 4 months, the culture of this team is entirely different than sales. My manager micromanages me, is out of touch, and threatened me for having passion projects outside of work.

Do I stick it out and deal with the anxiety, move on from the company I love, or take an AE job that is on the table and blow it up?

Currently interviewing for a role at Amazon that is listed as a CW position, but I have direct experience in the product and capabilities this role is seeking, and the hiring manager is moving me forward. What is the likelihood that if I tried to negotiate from a CW to FTE, I would get the position?

Received an offer for non- tech CCM role and wondering if I should accept. I feel like I was lowballed and downleved despite having 6 YOE (relevant but not in tech). Not sure it will be beneficial to leave my current role for this offer to get my foot in the door.

I’m at the cap for salary at the level/role and can’t negotiate offer any higher.

I have 5 years of experience and only $125k TC. Am I getting paid too little?

So am I naive for wanting to develop friendships with my coworkers? It seems like everyone has a life outside of work and as much as we talk about being collaborative and teamwork, no one on my team actually wants to develop friendships. Is it pointless? Like I don't want to waste my time but I do think the work culture would be more enjoyable?
