McKinsey & Company I had a second round of interview with McK 1 week back but no one got back to me yet.
I only received a link to login to McK website where the status my job application shows “In Progress”.
I am not sure whether it takes so much time for McK to respond after the second round. Is anybody aware of this?

I use half hours generally.
I live that .1 life
@PwC1 I work in individual tax. Sometimes shit takes .1 they add up.
@D1 you are the jackass that makes running the WIP annoying. It’s usually 0.5 intervals, just for ease of the managers especially when your team is 40-50 people large.
Use a pivot after you run the wip pwc. Not sure why you’re looking at detail time like that anyway.
If I had to track tasks to .1 I would blow my brains out. 30 mins.
I’m with E1 - it’s all easy excel math. I had a rate card where you had to round to increments of 2.25 hours..
You have discretion? I’m at CohnReznick. Policy is 6min for professionals
.25
Hahaha pwc2 you are either working under a micromanager or your office is doing something weird, because I can tell you right now that the offices I've ever worked in just do a pivot table and compare actual to budget like any other sane accountant...
We are given discretion. In the end most of our engagements are fixed fee and any additional 1/2 hrs you “overcharge” will only slightly impact realization.
I do 6 minutes.
We can record time down to the one hundredth of an hour so I assume we can bill to that.
EY1 because here at pwc we detail review each and every line item of the wip to test for reasonableness. Every entry is material
You’re dumb. You can literally aggregate by person, by activity code, by date or whatever the hell else you want to and any combination of such. You are just wasting time by not effectively learning how to analyze information.
