My 2.5 yo just spelled and wrote most of his name at school today.

I have not worked with him on this at all. I thought he was too young. Neither has school (also they told me they are working with him on recognizing the first letter of his name, which he's been doing for months, so I don't trust their assessment).

Is this advanced enough to take note of? Or is this just something where kids progress at various levels?

Started a new job 7 months ago. There’s been a hiring freeze and it seems they canned the recruitment team. Things seems to be slowing down drastically in the span of a week. Getting the resume all spiffed up and getting interviews together. When do you make the exit? “When you find a job” I know, but…

Also, would me making my exit to another role that I might leave in a 8 months bite me in the ass down the line? Do I just grab anything in the interim?

Same fixed CTC for both , variable is 0-20% in EY and for Amdocs I got to know from employee that avg is 8-10%.

Hi All. I have a good job offer but I'm wondering whether I should negotiate comp. I made it clear from the beginning what my target for base comp was which is ~$10K over the top of the posted salary range for the job. I also said that I was comfortable proceeding with the interview process despite the top of that range being lower (somewhat weakening my position for later I suppose). The offer is at the very top of the range. Bonus is 5% less than what I get in my current job. Negotiate?

Anyone switched from Becker to Wiley and regretted it? I did and though I appreciate the bite-sized lectures, I don't enjoy it as much as Becker. Going for my first switch, and got offer from CTS with 11.5 ctc as etl tester.
My lwd is jan 2nd.
I got trained in Selenium in java and i think my selenium concepts/understandings are good, need some brush up on testng.
So is it advicable to kick start and brushup Selenium+ TestNG concepts in 1 month and go for automation role interviews as i dont have experience in realtime automation projects. Good or bad idea?
