I'm currently working as ETL tester @ Infosys, 5Yoe, cctc: 6.5
Going for my first switch, and got offer from CTS with 11.5 ctc as etl tester.
My lwd is jan 2nd.
I got trained in Selenium in java and i think my selenium concepts/understandings are good, need some brush up on testng.
So is it advicable to kick start and brushup Selenium+ TestNG concepts in 1 month and go for automation role interviews as i dont have experience in realtime automation projects. Good or bad idea?

A parent of one of my students told admin she thinks it's irresponsible that I won't be grading over Christmas break. So, recently got put on a PIP after six months at my new job., two days after I told my boss and HR I recently learned I have a cognitive disability caused by an illness. The PIP was mostly because I forgot some deadlines, but also they said I need to be more professional in emails (even though others use zero punctuation and a lot of emojis. To clients.) and simultaneously ask more questions and ask fewer questions. Should I just assume this is unattainable and look for a new job again?

What would you do?
My company contracts a web developer, we have a set amount of hours for the quarter and pay over if more work is needed.
He never gets anything done. Doesn’t answer emails half the time. The one thing he’s done was take out a blurb that threatened our eligibility for patent renewal.
We have another company taking over in January, but I still have some pretty important dev needs until then and I can’t get him to do a thing. I truly try to give him all he needs.
