I recently interviewed for a position I was excited about. I like my job but this position seemed like a great fit. I met with five different individuals including a partner. Everyone was extremely nice. I received positive signaling and found out almost a week later that I didn’t receive the position. I have absolutely no idea why. Is it typical for companies to make you go through so many different interviews only to reject you?

Had to tell my old man this morning to stop looking for things to complain or nitpick about and start looking for things that are going well.
