Been with company for 2.5 years in a SFA role, and they just let me hire an associate financial analyst reporting into me. My manager never mentioned anything in regards to a promotion, but when I asked, I was told that there will be an evaluation period before any promotion is given. Help!! I have a student who puts absolutely everything in his mouth - crayons, markers, grass, mulch, paper towels, etc. How can I redirect him? He has a chewy but won’t use it. He’s 3.

I have a young student with CVI and extremely limited mobility. She is able to vocalize but not speak. However, I’ve seen her response and mannerisms change (positively) in the presence of parents and siblings which leads me to believe that she is cognizant enough to possible use a communication device. However, I don’t even know where to start with researching the best one for her. Any suggestions?
