N.B.
I have rejected the offer due to parental COVID infection on middle of second wave. I need a long leave which may not be possible while serving notice period. Informed and mailed HR with proper documents.HR accepted the same politely.

Hey! Any Google folks know if it’s possible to negotiate fully remote if a contract role is hybrid? Personally, I don’t want to relocate and go to the office on a contract role given the current economy. Plus, I’m assuming contractors are the first to go in layoffs. I just think it’s a fair trade off if I’d be allowed to work fully remote. I’m also trying to have flexibility to manage my Airbnb business in a different country. Same time zone as the home office if I’d travel weeks at a time.

I mean, they are not really incentivizing you to take on extra work, are they? That would be really demotivating for me as well. That would probably be enough for me to start looking for another job, to be honest.
"This is outside the scope of my job title." If you would like to negotiate a promotion and reflective salary compensation, I'm open to dialog. Until then, it would be prudent for all stakeholders if we kept my responsibilities and scope of work within the lanes of our last negotiation.
It's never bad advice to remind people of what is and isn't in your scope of work. I literally have to do this at least once a week and have always successfully navigated through management... I also continue to prove my value and how I'm not easily replaceable... that and these I direct report to are well aware that that "million dollars" you mentioned is actually about 15% of my financial fall back. I work because my wife refuses to retire, and therefore, I'm not allowed to retire as well, not because I need the job. When management no longer gas the leverage of fear, they become a lot more willing to keep in line with reasonable boundaries.
Take it while you look for other jobs, and put the new role on your resume
