My joining date was initially set for April 2nd. However, I was informed that there was an error, as the company onboards contract employees only on Tuesdays and Thursdays, and direct employees on Mondays, Wednesdays, and Fridays. Therefore, my joining date has been rescheduled to April 6th.

Anyone preparing for Australia immigration? Where are you at the process?

I went through six rounds of interviews including putting together a 30 minute presentation which I presented to the whole team. The whole process took about six weeks. I turned down another lead position at a different company waiting. After all that they told me that hiring for this role was on hold until further notice. At the end of the day it’s business, but I am left feeling like I wasted my time (and theirs.)Totally confused and disheartened by this process. Anyone else experiencing this?
