Got a 30% salary bump, via an offer for Senior Consultant S&O from Deloitte. Currently underpaid at EY Advisory. I'm MBA and this year is my promotion year at EY for Manager. What to do? Get demoted and move to D? Or counter at EY? Even if EY matches my salary, and promote me to Manager, I will be an EY Manager with a Deloitte SC salary, and probably won't be able to go to D in the future. What do you think? I have built up a good relationship with my Partner and SMs at EY though.

I decided to move on from my job of 7 years, I had no days off, It was getting overwhelmed, I just wanted to spend quality family time, so I applied at another place and I was hired on the spot, so my old employer offered me what I wanted and I decided to stay, so my question is ….. how in a professional way do I tell my new employer that I not coming to work with them. I’m supposed to start by the end of this month.

I have a looming sense of self hatred. I take medication I workout and do all the things to feel good, but it’s just stuck there. Constantly thinking I’m trash, in a bad person, etc. Feeling guilty for things idek if I should feel guilty about. This is a privileged problem and I know it’s minuscule to compared to the actual struggles of so many people in the US and abroad. So I've been applying for jobs with various brands who are owned by the same parent company. They are all separate brands but owned by the same company. All my applications are under one login with the parent company's website. My question is, can HR and recruiters from the different brands see all my open applications (including those with the other brands) or just the ones that concern the brand they work for?

I’ve noticed that HR, when explaining why a candidate didn’t get the job, tend to lean on “You’re great, but we had candidates with more experience in [skill relevant to the job].” I do believe this is true in some cases, but it can’t possibly be for all of them.
