My performance-based raise was exactly 1.5%, which is essentially a formal invitation to start interviewing elsewhere. I was rated Outstanding in every category. To be rewarded with a raise that doesn't even keep pace with a trip to the grocery store is insulting beyond words. I’ve already got two coffee chats lined up for next week because loyalty clearly doesn't pay the bills in this market. Is a sub-2% raise the standard silent firing method?

Almost 32 years old and feeling stuck. Been in advertising at creative agencies my entire career and wanting to make the pivot to client side marketing but am feeling very under skilled in certain aspects - project management, account management, digital marketing/CRM, data science. Seriously considering going for an MBA to fill those gaps and open doors. Anyone do something similar? Good idea or unnecessary? Am I too old?

Poll on general attitudes towards open relationships? I’m in one and find that some folks are totally non-judgmental about it, while others are so vicious/rude about it. Curious about your opinions! I understand that every open relationship is different, and each couple defines their own arrangement/rules. For context, ours is a passive one that’s hardly acted on, but we both have Grindr and meet guys for fun on the very odd occasion (whether together or apart). If you’re in one, describe yours!

Currently a Wealth Advisor for Citi but I honestly hate it here with a passion it’s the worst company I’ve ever worked for in my life and I’ve been in Wealth Management in the banking channel for over a decade. Series 7, Series 63, Life, CFP, ChFC, and soon to have my MBA with a focus in Mergers & Acquisitions. I’m look to enter another area of Finance at this point instead of starting over somewhere else from scratch, but not sure what direction to go. Interested in Investment Banking or M&A.
