I have 18 years of experience , out of which 9 years I worked in Manufacturing industry in Quality and Planning area, then I shifted my career to SAP Functional in Manufacturing domain and in IT industry now for last 8+yrs. In between I have done executive MBA from IIM Kozhikode.Am I eligible to work in consulting in Bain India and Bain any other country?

First of all, I congratulate you if you managed to reach the Ph.D. level, and yes it is true that it is not easy to get a job as a doctor, but when you do you will see the fruits of your efforts.
It's a big plus if you're at least a semi-competent cook. You'll figure out some tricks to make the most out of cheap ingredients as you go along and put together some truly yummy meals
Agree! I used to be a bit scared of the kitchen but I started watching this yt channel called Pro Home Cooks. Shoutout to him for opening me up to cooking
Ramen noodles. Copious amounts of them.
It's all about keeping in mind your long term plan. You'll have to make some concessions in the long term like having pricey meals or going on adventures but if this is truly the path you want to follow it'll all pay off in the long run
One day at a time. Humans are pretty malleable, so eventually, you'll learn to be comfortable with the decreased quality of life. It's all temporary though
It's just a temporary sacrifice, so I just see it as the small price to pay to keep furthering my career and take care of future me. You'll be grateful for making the sacrifice once you come out the other side
