Curious on your thought about Adam and Eve sinning. If the cross restored what was lost in the fall, then maybe it is possible to sin even being made perfect like Adam. Our current bodies and this fallen world bring temptations like the serpent but I suppose both of those go away in heaven where there are new bodies and no temptation.
Great comment. That is a very interesting topic with many strong thoughts on the topic. Some say if Adam and Eve didn’t know right from wrong (their eyes were not open to see their nakedness and feel ashamed) until after eating the fruit from the tree of the Knowledge of Good and Evil - some wonder why they were punished for sinning? But most Biblical scholars say the Tree of the knowledge of good and evil was of course symbolic of God being our chief law giver who is the one who determines right from wrong. When God created Adam and Eve, He endowed them with a conscience, an intellect and the ability to choose. God specifically told them not to eat from the tree of knowledge of good and evil. Yet both Adam and Eve instead chose to disobey their God and lawgiver and instead do what they wanted. Eve was tempted by the serpent to eat the fruit and then Eve tempted Adam to eat the fruit. But both on their own accord made the decision to disobey God. Both failed to let their love for God motivate them to trust and to obey Him.
