My wife accepted an opportunity we couldn’t pass up, so after 12 years in Government IT, I’m back on the job market.

The hardest part isn’t moving. It’s wondering whether I still have what employers are looking for. No degree, a job market that’s completely changed, ATS filters, AI resumes… it’s honestly intimidating, especially when you’re trying to find something stable that will carry you into retirement.

Has anyone else gone through this?

This job is not for women with kids unless you go on some sort of reduced schedule or stay up super late most nights after the kids are asleep. This is so impossible!! 😖 just needed to vent somewhere

Medicaid plans are so dysfunctional. Has anyone else experienced this? I feel like I’m being gas lighted after working for big commercial enterprises and now working on a Medicaid plan. I’ve never seen so much resistance to change or legit resistance to doing anything to improve operations.
