The problem is that my revised LWD being discussed internally is still around 10 July, and because of this mismatch, the new organization is also not fully releasing/confirming the offer process yet.
I already resigned based on this opportunity, and now I honestly feel stuck between both organizations. My current management and TL are supportive to some extent operationally, but official timelines are still constrained. Internal discussions regarding buyout, earned leave adjustment, transition support, and possible alignment are all ongoing.
The difficult part is that neither side is completely rejecting, but timelines are also not aligning cleanly.
Now I’m trying to understand what would be the most practical and professionally safe approach:
continue pushing for revised release?
request more onboarding flexibility from the new organization?
manage a very short transition overlap using available leaves?
or something else?
Would genuinely appreciate suggestions from people who handled similar notice period/onboarding situations before.
