Traveled with a girl friend I’ve only been friends with for a year and she got super intoxicated and started grabbing men’s butts at a bar. I told her to stop and she said “now they know how it feels”. The tipping point was when she grabbed a guy who was with his girlfriend and they almost had a fight. I told her she was being illogical because she’s literally sexually harassing men and it wasn’t cool.

Anyone get to the point where every request to do anything for work is met with annoyance

Do you think that years from now, there will be some kind of “blanket asterisk” for this period of time in the minds of hiring managers and recruiters? Do you think old stigmas for short tenures will always exist, no matter the context?

This past year I’ve been feeling especially burnt out. Briefs are taking longer to click and it’s a struggle to come up with creative ideas. People who brag about being exploited by their employers working 50-80 hours a week - why do you think it’s a cool flex? Isn’t it rather sad?

Leaving the office the other day and overheard an older woman compliment some people by saying:

“You’re setting a good example for the younger ones who don’t want to come in to the office.”

Is this like a common point of view out there? Do people think that working from home is lazy? Or unprofessional?

So I went out to Chipotle to grab lunch real quick. The next person in line stood literally a foot away from me. Politely asked that we maintain some more distance and got called a “crazy person” 🤦🏽‍♂️
